Change Is Comin

Well as it turns out I'm not one for a crusy lifestyle. I am more all about the spontaneous adventures, jumping before I know what lies below, and signing on the dotted line before I even glance at what is expected. I'm sure if you asked my mom she would say I've always been that way! Just another grand discovery oft sparkling personality. This past month has been nothing short of typical toots (Taryn).

I have jumped into my work with both feet, knees.....well lets be honest I went head first! I am transferring to the city centre store to become the assistant manager there. I am unable to get the title of manager until I have my visa extension so I am now underway of that one. I will be making the hard move on the 12th of march which means I am going to be crazy with replacing myself at Ponsonhy and getting clear and ready for Britomart. It was a really difficult decision to make as it feels like I am leaving my first born child! But there is amazing opportunity at Britomart and it's only going to better prepare me for my own store.

I took a few days off work and travels to Palmerston North for my managers, Tracy, wedding. It was so beautiful and I am so happy that I got out of the city for it. My friend Cassy and I road tripped it down from Auckland on Friday and came back up Sunday. It was about a 8 hour drive with all of our stops and

Fast Cars and Freedom

Well I bought a car. I love it!! I have freedom for the first time since I moved down here and I am using it! I bout a red Nissan sentra 1996 with 63000km for $2500. My insurance is $9/month and that is for fire, theft and 3rd party. It's all I need for a car like mine.

I am heading to Wellington tomorrow for work. I am flying out at 8:30 getting into Welligton t 9:30 and then it's on! I work Friday till Sunday and its going to be intense. We are hosting the Tacos and Tiaki event with a DJ and of course tacos. It's going to be an amazing thing to put on my résumé and I am nervously excited to do it!

Today I got some very good news. I am in the process of getting my sponsorship from lululemon to stay another year in NZ. If this goes through I will be able to apply for residency and see what happens from there. There is a lot of growth opportunity right now for me which is very exciting and nervous at the same time! We will see how life goes from here.

Our touch team is doing much better now. We are winning our games and are looking like we are going to go to finals which is pretty exciting for a game I must started to play a few months ago!

Life is really good and now that I have a car (Hardy is his name) I am even busier!
